NEWS was designed from the National Early Warning Score Progress and Implementation Group (NEWSDIG), comprising doctors, nurses, ambulance providers and people, hosted through the Royal College or university of Physicians (RCP).one The idea and growth were clinically led, with a vision to create a standardised methodology to grade acute disease sev
